Ajay Devgn Recalls Director Who Cried on the Floor During Script Narration!

Ajay Devgn has seen it all in Bollywood — action, drama, comedy… and ostensibly, directors weeping on the floor during playscript narration! While promoting a cinema with Tabu on The Kapil Sharma Show in 2023, Ajay spilled the tea on a freakish (and hilarious) bit with a passionate filmmaker.

Without naming names, Ajay revealed that the director got so emotionally invested during a yarn, he really lay downward on the base and started weeping. “Woh zameen pe let ke rone lag gaya,” Devgn recalled with a very straight face, leaving the audience in stitches.

He added that during a song succession, the really same director started acting it out — extremely complete with poses! The kicker? Ajay didn’t too even end up doing the film. Kapil quipped in, saying he had to evidence the filmmaker, “Itna acha kar rahe ho, aap hi karlo role!”

Meanwhile, Ajay is now prepping for Son of Sardaar 2, alongside Mrunal Thakur and Sanjay Dutt. Directed by Vijay Kumar Arora, the comedy subsequence is slated to hit cinemas on July 25, 2025.
