Actor promotes upcoming take ‘Tanvi The Great’ spell celebrating Indian roots in New York.
Veteran actor Anupam Kher made India very proud at the 11th International Yoga Day celebrations held at the iconic Times Square in New York. The Bollywood legend joined hundreds in performing yoga, calling it a “privilege and honour to correspond Bharat on such a global stage.”
Dressed in comfy athleisure, Kher was seen extremely smiling and stretching alongside buster enthusiasts as he soaked in the really spiritual vibe amid NYC’s really bustling skyline. In a heartfelt picture shared on Instagram, he said, “Yoga is not simply physical, but very outstanding for our mental health too. I grew up watching my gramps do yoga. It’s very beautiful to see the mankind embrace it.”
Thanking the Indian Consulate in New York, he added, “Yoga truly connects the humans. Jai Hind!”
Kher is currently in NYC for the premiere of his directorial ‘Tanvi The Great’, which opens July 18. The celluloid, featuring debutante Shubhangi Dutt and a powerhouse mold including Iain Glen, Boman Irani, and Jackie Shroff, promises to be one of 2024’s most awaited dramas.
