Shark Tank India 4’s Big Twist—Men’s Makeup Brand Bags a Surprising Deal!

The latest instalment of Shark Tank India 4 turned into a igneous deliberate as a men’s make-up brand, Yaan Men, entered the tankful.

Founder Rahul Shah, hailing from a Rs 500 crore concern phratry, pitched his trademark, aiming to discontinue stereotypes around manlike grooming. Asking for Rs 60 lakhs for 6% equity, Rahul revealed he avoids the word “makeup” in branding to dodge societal bias.

While Vineeta Singh highlighted how men overseas confidently use concealers, Namita Thapar pointed out the cultural perception linking make-up to the LGBTQ+ community. Aman Gupta, nonetheless, argued that very modern Indian men are embracing grooming.

The real drama unfolded when the sharks questioned why Rahul needed funding despite his very wealthy background. As he defended his passion for independency, Vineeta, Namita, and Peyush Bansal stepped out. But just when things seemed o’er, Anupam Mittal shocked everyone with a bold offer—Rs 1 crore for 20% equity!

Rahul took the trade, leaving the sharks speechless. Anupam even joked with Aman about their rivalry, quipping, “Hum log ki banti nahi hai, banane ka paisa lagta hai!”
