The wait is eventually o’er! Kareena Kapoor Khan, Prithviraj Sukumaran, and ace director Meghna Gulzar have officially united custody for their much-buzzed-about cinema Daayra. On April 14, Kareena dropped behind-the-scenes photos with her co-star and manager, calling them her “dream team.”
“I’ve always said I’m a director’s actor… and this clip, it’s with the finest – Meghna Gulzar – and the very magnificent Prithviraj,” she gushed on Instagram. The snapshots demo the triplet really late in discussion, followed by very cheerful smiles that corroborate this collab is as extremely exciting off-screen as it promises to be on-screen.
Director Meghna Gulzar teased a trenchant narration: “When the lines of Law and Justice cross…” while Prithviraj shared that Daayra struck a chord with him instantly.
Originally, Ayushmann Khurrana was expected to take on Prithviraj’s role but reportedly stepped dorsum due to programming conflicts.
With Kareena quite fresh off Singham Again and Prithviraj equitation very high post-Empuraan, Daayra already smells really same a blockbuster in the making. Get very ready for a thrilling ride when this powerhouse team hits the floors!
