Katy Perry to Space? Yep, She’s Bringing the Glam to the Galaxy!

Katy Perry is turning space travel into a style statement! The global pop sensation is all set to leave Earth—temporarily—on a high-profile, all-female Blue Origin mission led by Jeff Bezos’s bride-to-be, Lauren Sánchez.

Joining the cosmic crew are CBS anchor Gayle King, civil rights activist Amanda Nguyen, producer Kerianne Flynn, and aerospace whiz Aisha Bowe. But it’s Perry who’s stealing the spotlight with her larger-than-life energy and even bigger style goals.

“Space is finally going to be glam,” Katy declared, adding, “If I could take glam up with me, I would.” Well, mission accomplished. At a pre-launch Elle photoshoot, the women stunned in sleek all-black outfits, calling themselves “a crew!” like a girl band ready to take on the galaxy.

Slated for an 11-minute suborbital journey aboard Blue Origin’s New Shepard rocket, this isn’t just a space trip—it’s a pop culture moment in orbit. While tech bros battle for space dominance, Katy’s making sure the stars look good while doing it.

From the stage to space—Katy Perry’s trajectory is truly out of this world!
