Yuzvendra Chahal & Dhanashree Verma’s Divorce Finalized—HC Grants Waiver for Cooling-Off Period!

Cricketer Yuzvendra Chahal and choreographer Dhanashree Verma’s marriage is officially coming to an end. The Bombay High Court granted the couple an exemption from the mandatory six-month cooling-off period, instructing the family court to finalize their divorce by March 20, 2025.
Earlier today, the estranged couple arrived separately at the Bandra Family Court with their legal teams, avoiding the media glare. Chahal, dressed in an all-black outfit with a face mask, looked somber, while Dhanashree appeared composed as they proceeded with the legal formalities.
The couple had filed for divorce on February 5, 2025, citing mutual consent and requesting a waiver of the waiting period. Initially denied by the family court, they took the matter to the High Court, which ruled in their favor—largely due to Chahal’s IPL commitments beginning March 21.
As per reports, Chahal will pay Dhanashree a hefty ₹4.75 crore as alimony. He has already transferred half the amount, with the remainder set to be settled post-divorce.
Speculations of their split had been swirling for months, fueled by social media hints and their Instagram unfollowing spree. Now, it’s official—their love story has reached its final over.
