However, Sunday’s performance is the biggest talking point. After collecting ₹10.40 crore on Saturday, the film witnessed an 8.2% jump on Day 3, earning ₹11.25 crore India net. The growth indicates that the film has maintained audience interest throughout its opening weekend.

The Sunday collection of ₹11.25 crore represents an 8.2% improvement over Saturday. This upward movement is encouraging for the makers, particularly as the film enters its first working week.

Overseas Market Contributes ₹14.10 Crore

One of the strongest aspects of AK 47’s opening weekend is its overseas performance. International markets have contributed ₹14.10 crore, accounting for 27.7% of the film’s worldwide gross.

India remains the biggest contributor, generating ₹36.85 crore gross, or 72.3% of the worldwide business.

The overseas contribution gives the film an additional advantage as it attempts to sustain its theatrical run beyond the Telugu-speaking markets.

Venkatesh and Trivikram Srinivas’ Combination Attracts Audiences

A major attraction of Aadarsha Kutumbam House No: 47 is the collaboration between Venkatesh and director Trivikram Srinivas.

Venkatesh has established himself as one of Telugu cinema’s most recognisable family entertainers, while Trivikram is known for his dialogue-driven storytelling, humour and family-oriented narratives.

The film revolves around Chittibabu, Swarna and their household at House No. 47. What initially appears to be a happy family gradually becomes complicated as hidden secrets and tensions emerge.

The ensemble cast includes Srinidhi Shetty, Nara Rohith, Nivetha Pethuraj, Vennela Kishore, Satya Akkala, Rao Ramesh and Brahmaji.

Combining action, comedy, family drama and thriller elements, the film attempts to appeal to audiences across different age groups.

Can AK 47 Enter the ₹100 Crore Club?

With ₹50.95 crore worldwide gross in its first three days, AK 47 has made a promising start. The next major target will be maintaining its collections during the weekdays.

Monday’s performance will be particularly important in determining whether the film can sustain its opening-weekend momentum.

If the film manages to maintain reasonable collections during the working week and benefits from another strong weekend, the ₹100 crore worldwide milestone could become a realistic target.

However, mixed audience reactions could create challenges. The film’s long-term box-office performance will depend on word-of-mouth, repeat audiences and its ability to maintain theatrical occupancy.

For Venkatesh and Trivikram Srinivas, the opening weekend has provided a strong commercial beginning. Now, all eyes are on the weekday collections to determine whether AK 47 can turn its promising start into a major box-office success.
