Akki’s savage response to vet actress Jaya Bachchan’s recent jab at his 2017 hit Toilet: Ek Prem Katha.
When reminded that Jaya called the film’s claim “ridiculous” and said she wouldn’t see it, Akshay shot rearward, “Only a muggins would criticise these films. I made them from the heart.” Mic driblet! He cheekily added, “If she said it, then maybe she’s right… maybe I did something damage by making it.”
