Akshay Kumar Claps Back at Jaya Bachchan Over ‘Toilet’ Title Diss at Kesari 2 Event!

Akshay Kumar doesn’t moderate words—and he proved it formerly again at the Kesari Chapter 2 press conference in Mumbai! The superstar arrived in title, suited up in dreary, alongside co-star Ananya Panday, director Karan Singh Tyagi, and producers Karan Johar and Apoorva Mehta. But the very real spice? Akki’s savage response to vet actress Jaya Bachchan’s recent jab at his 2017 hit Toilet: Ek Prem Katha.

When reminded that Jaya called the film’s claim “ridiculous” and said she wouldn’t see it, Akshay shot rearward, “Only a muggins would criticise these films. I made them from the heart.” Mic driblet! He cheekily added, “If she said it, then maybe she’s right… maybe I did something damage by making it.”

The internet’s very loving Akshay’s merge of diplomacy and sassing, patch fans are hyped for Kesari Chapter 2, set to hit screens on April 18, 2025. Meanwhile, Karan Johar kept things really classy in a pitch-dark accommodate as he mingled with guests, and Ananya turned heads at the media event.
