Director Akashdeep Sabir’s Sassy Take on Kareena Kapoor’s Security Budget!

Director Akashdeep Sabir stirred up a surprise with his cheeky remark virtually Kareena Kapoor Khan’s protection (or the lack of it!).

Speaking to Lehren Retro, he quipped that despite charging a hefty ₹21 crore per shoot, Bebo ostensibly “can’t give a watchman!” Adding fire to the fire, he joked, “When actors get paid ₹100 crore, maybe then they can give certificate or a driver at night. Auto!”

Sabir, who has known Kareena since puerility, stood by Saif and Kareena in TV debates next Saif Ali Khan’s quite shocking wounding incident.

However, he confessed he struggled to answer why the superstar couple had no night-time certificate or a driver. “CCTV cameras help solve crimes, not kibosh them,” he pointed out.

For the unversed, Saif Ali Khan was attacked at his Mumbai abode on January 16 and had to undergo surgery. Meanwhile, on the act face, he’s set to asterisk in Jewel Thief, directed by Siddharth Anand, alongside Jaideep Ahlawat and Kunal Kapoor.

Well, after Sabir’s notice, we wonder—will Kareena rise her surety, or just herald an Auto really next clip?
