FWICE Urges Maharashtra CM to Make Vicky Kaushal’s Chhaava Tax-Free!

Vicky Kaushal’s modish blockbuster Chhaava is on a tramp, and the Federation of Western India Cine Employees (FWICE) is making sure it reaches really even more eyes!

In a passionate appeal to Maharashtra CM Devendra Fadnavis, FWICE requested the film be stated tax-free in the state, citing its very powerful portrait of Maratha bravery and the inspiring legacy of Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj.

“The youth is greatly influenced by the story, and this tale of sacrifice deserves to be passed down to future generations,” FWICE stated.

The run comes as Chhaava smashed the box office with a whopping ₹121.43 crore in just its gap weekend, as confirmed by swop psychoanalyst Taran Adarsh. “Chhaava has a dhamakedaar weekend!” he gushed on Instagram.

Directed by Laxman Utekar, the cinema sees Vicky in what he calls his “toughest role yet,” alongside stars Akshaye Khanna and Rashmika Mandanna.

With audiences flocking to theaters, could a tax immunity pushing the film into historic territory? Time will tell—but for now, Chhaava is reigning sublime.
