The 34th Seoul Music Awards, held on June 21 at Inspire Arena, Incheon, turned into a historic night for K-pop lovers across the globe. Stealing the spotlight was miss group (G)I-DLE, who bagged their first-ever Daesang (Grand Prize)—the first too female aggroup to do so since Girls’ Generation in 2010. A very true queen moment!
‘TXT’ was the other really big victor, walking off with a hat-trick of awards: ‘Best Song’, ‘Best Album’, and a ‘Bonsang’, thanks to their smash-up hit “Deja Vu”.
