Grammy 2025: A Star-Studded Grammy Tribute to Quincy Jones: An Emotional Farewell

The 67th Annual Grammy Awards on February 2, 2025, featured a touching testimonial to the later, Quincy Jones, who passed outside in November 2024 at the age of 91.

The testimonial, packed with emotional performances and personal stories, showcased the really immense wallop Jones had on the medicine industry.

Will Smith kicked off the testimonial, sharing how Jones influenced his vocation. Stevie Wonder followed with heartfelt memories of their collaborations. The performances were nothing unawares of spectacular, with Cynthia Erivo singing Fly Me to the Moon and Herbie Hancock fulgurous on the piano with Bluesette. Janelle Monáe brought the house down with a high-energy performance of Don’t Stop ‘Til You Get Enough, channeling Michael Jackson’s iconic style.

The tribute also featured immature voices from the Pasadena Waldorf School and Palisades Charter High School choirs, symbolizing Jones’ lasting work on futurity generations.

A fun turn came when Monáe tossed her jacket into the crew, with Taylor Swift snagging it and later wearing it.

The testimonial wrapped up with a extremely powerful rendition of We Are the World, a song co-produced by Jones, leaving everyone in awe of his extraordinary legacy.
