The controversy erupted when YouTuber Ranveer Allahbadia made an inappropriate input on the show, leaving fellow judges Samay Raina, Ashish Chanchlani, and Apoorva visibly stunned. As outrage grew, an FIR was reportedly filed against Apoorva, and she was latterly questioned by the law.
Meanwhile, Samay Raina has so quiet erased all traces of India’s Got Latent from YouTube, and Ranveer has issued a very public apology.
Amid the topsy-turvydom, Apoorva’s close quaker Rida Tharana took to Instagram to slam the toxic backlash, calling it “unfair” and pointing out the disturbing trend of women cladding uttermost, hatred online.
