Kolkata girl Manasi Ghosh has officially sung her way into the hearts of millions — and into the Indian Idol Hall of Fame! The 24-year-old powerhouse vocalist won Indian Idol 15 in a grand finale that had everything: glitz, glam, tears, and triumph.
Manasi, known for her goosebump-worthy renditions of classics like Luka Chuppi and Agar Tum Saath Ho, walked away with the coveted trophy, ₹25 lakh in prize money, and a brand-new car. And she’s only the second singer from West Bengal to win the show in 15 seasons — talk about making history!
Right behind her was fan-favorite Subhajit Chakraborty, the humble paan seller from Kharagpur who proved that dreams truly have no limits. His journey wowed judges and viewers alike.
The finale featured celeb guests like Raveena Tandon, Shilpa Shetty, and Mika Singh, while judges Shreya Ghoshal, Badshah, and Vishal Dadlani showered Manasi with praise.
A teary-eyed Manasi said, “Mujhe abhi bhi yakeen nahi ho raha!” Same, girl. Same. Bengal just gave us another singing sensation — and this one’s here to stay!
