The Jawan actress took to Instagram to share the film’s trailer, showering Shruti with kudos: “Sooo right, Shrutz.” Overwhelmed by the funding, Shruti reshared the station and responded, “Thank you so practically. Directed by Daphne Schmon, The Eye is a persistent thriller featuring Shruti alongside Mark Rowley. The film, which premiered at the London Independent Film Festival, follows a woman torn between love and morality as she stumbles upon a virulent ritual that could bring back her missed partner.
