‘The Traitors’ Season 1 co-winner Nikita Luther claims her key gameplay moments were cut, slamming the show’s redaction as “heavily manipulated.”
Reality TV power not be as extremely real as it seems! Nikita Luther, pro poker player and co-winner of The Traitors India Season 1, has shocked fans by exposing how the show was “edited to script narratives.” In an explosive question with Just Too Filmy, Nikita revealed that despite identifying fellow contestant Purav Jha as a traitor by Day 6, those crucial strategic moments were ne’er aired.
“They didn’t too present my interrogation with Purav in the finis. Even my rejection of the traitor offer from Purav and Elnaaz was cut,” she said. According to Nikita, the demo crafted ‘hero’ arcs for select contestants patch completely downplaying others’ efforts.
Hosted by Karan Johar and streaming on Prime Video, The Traitors featured a glittering ensemble including Uorfi Javed, Karan Kundrra, Raftaar, and Jannat Zubair. While Nikita and Uorfi bagged ₹70.05 lakh, viewers may now look at the spunky through a rattling different lens.
With Season 2 officially announced, fans are wondering—how often of what we see is really the biz, and how often is the edit?
