As a fan of Vijay, she expressed how heartbroken she was upon hearing of his exit from films but also voiced her full support for his decision to shift focus towards politics. “I’m very sad as a fan, but I stand by his journey. I’m rooting for him,” she said.
With the film revealing a political undertone, rumors have been swirling about whether Jana Nayagan hints at Vijay’s potential political career. However, director H Vinoth clarified that the film wouldn’t target any specific leader or party. He emphasized that the film would showcase Vijay in his true element, appealing to audiences of all ages.
