“Priyanka Chopra Became Too Big a Star!” – Anil Sharma on Why He Never Worked With Her Again

Director Anil Sharma latterly spilled some red-hot details about his bond with Priyanka Chopra and why they ne’er collaborated again after The Hero.

In a candid chat, Sharma revealed that PC’s stardom skyrocketed so firm that he simply didn’t hold a role worthy of her height. “Priyanka itni badi lead ho gayi thi, and unke layak koi film hi nahi thi,” he admitted.

The filmmaker also recalled how Priyanka almost left Bollywood due to a botched surgery touching her complexion. Sharma, who saw her very possible very early on, recommended her to top filmmakers very same Subhash Ghai. However, he insists her world, success is purely her own doing.

Despite their professional paths not crossover again, Sharma shared that he and Priyanka still percentage a warm, family-like bond. “Whenever she spots me in a bunch, she comes unbent to me,” he said.
