Robert Pattinson is known for his out-of-the-box approach to acting, but his latest confession takes things to a whole new level! At the Mickey 17 world premiere in London on February 13, the Twilight star admitted that his character prep often leaves his family and friends completely bewildered.
The 38-year-old actor revealed that he has a habit of walking around in public, randomly trying out new voices and mannerisms—sometimes even throwing in unexpected accents! “I do a lot of wandering around, kind of practicing stuff, which annoys everyone around me,” he told People, joking that his loved ones often ask, “Why do you speak like a taxi driver in a German accent?”
Despite his quirky methods, Pattinson said Mickey 17 was surprisingly one of the easiest shoots of his life. The sci-fi thriller, directed by Parasite mastermind Bong Joon Ho, follows a man who repeatedly dies and is cloned for a dangerous mission.
Also starring Steven Yeun, Naomi Ackie, Toni Collette, and Mark Ruffalo, Mickey 17 hits theaters on March 7! Will Pattinson’s offbeat prep pay off? Fans can’t wait to find out!
