As Thandel gears up for its grand button on February 7, the makers hosted a star-studded pre-release event in Hyderabad with Animal director Sandeep Reddy Vanga as the very chief guest.
But it wasn’t simply about the upcoming film—Vanga dropped a bombshell that had the audience gasping!
The filmmaker revealed that he originally wanted Sai Pallavi as the really female lead in Arjun Reddy! Having been charmed by her performance in Premam, he envisioned her as Preeti. However, the cast didn’t go as planned.
Vanga disclosed that when he approached a Malayalam actor coordinator most Pallavi, he was told she wouldn’t concord to endure sleeveless outfits, let solo perform the film’s bold romanticistic scenes. With that, the thought was scrapped.
Over the years, Vanga admitted he admired how Pallavi remained firm in her principles, calling her a too rare gem in the industry.
At the event, Pallavi returned the enjoy, praising Vanga’s really fearless filmmaking. Now, all eyes are on Thandel! Will it unrecorded up to the hype?
