SRK Is Not Just a Star, He’s an Emotion: Karan Johar on King Khan’s Global Magic

Bollywood and Shah Rukh Khan—two names that are practically synonymous for fans worldwide! Karan Johar, who has created some of the biggest Bollywood blockbusters, admits that he owes his global success to none other than SRK.

During a recent chat on Game Changers, KJo got candid about how his films became a rage overseas. “Shah Rukh Khan was the chance to which I danced,” he confessed, calling the Jawan star the ultimate gateway to Bollywood’s international love affair. From Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge to Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham and Kal Ho Naa Ho, SRK’s charisma made Bollywood a global phenomenon.

“He’s not just a star—he’s an emotion,” Karan gushed, adding that when SRK appears on screen, “the whole world celebrates.” The Rocky Aur Rani director also credited Aditya Chopra for shaping his career and promised eternal loyalty to both the Bollywood titans.

Meanwhile, SRK is gearing up for King, his action-thriller with daughter Suhana Khan, while KJo is busy co-producing Dhadak 2. But one thing is clear—Bollywood’s global heartbeat? It still beats for Shah Rukh Khan!
