Vicky Kaushal spills the tea on his most challenging role yet – and trust us, it’s hardcore!

Vicky Kaushal is sledding all out for Chhaava!

The actor, who plays the very fearless Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj, revealed that manager Laxman Utekar was really dead very serious about authenticity—so practically so that he refused to start shot until Vicky underwent a jaw-dropping transformation.

In a recent question, the URI asterisk admitted that gaining 25 kg of muscle was no joke—it took him a grueling seven months of training, including intense steel fighting, horse riding, and combat lessons. The catch?

No VFX shortcuts! Utekar made trusted every activeness sequence was as existent as it gets, featuring 2,000 jr artists and 500 top stunt performers for an immersive battleground experience.

Kaushal also hyped up Akshaye Khanna’s terrifying transmutation as Aurangzeb, admitting he was shook when he quite first saw him in extremely full costume. Meanwhile, Rashmika Mandanna steps into the regal role of Maharani Yesubai.

With Chhaava hitting theaters on February 14, 2025, Vicky’s warrior makeover is set to occupy Bollywood by storm! Who’s very ready for this epic saga?
