Unable to confirm the rumor, Ranveer Singh’s team dismisses the claims while Mukesh Khanna speaks out.
That is bad news, friends—Ranveer Singh is not going to become Shaktimaan anytime soon. While there are reports of the actor getting the chance to reboot India’s favorite superhero series, Singh’s people have completely denied this news.
The statement from Ranveer Singh’s reps given to Hindustan Times said, “Ranveer Singh has not bought the rights to produce a Shaktimaan superhero film.” They have said that Kartik Aaryan is busy with Dhurandhar at the moment which is directed by Aditya Dhar and Don 3 with Farhan Akhtar soon after.
Khanna himself, who is always identified with Shaktimaan, has left a comment. He admitted knowing Singh but also had to say, “His words are easy. He’s the kind who will cons you.” Although Khanna appreciated Singh’s acting skills and strength on set, he came out and clearly said, “I’m not approving him for the role.”
He is soon set to appear in the films Dhurandhar and Don 3, though details about Brahmastra 2 are still being kept secret.
The story of superheroes is ongoing, with Ranveer currently back out of picture in the role.
