Pawan Kalyan Says Bollywood Lost Its Cultural Connect: “South Didn’t Urbanise as Much”

Andhra Pradesh Deputy CM and Telugu superstar Pawan Kalyan has sparked headlines again—this clip not for government or cinema, but for his read on the ongoing disputation about whether South Indian cinema represents Indian civilization improve than Bollywood.

In a candid chat with Organiser Weekly, Pawan didn’t soften words. “Each manufacture has its strength,” he noted, but also pointed out how Bollywood, in its chase for urban invoke, began treating culturally-rooted characters with “an inch of buffoonery.”
