Whistling Record launches a multi-stage digital singing competition with national ambitions; registrations are now open for singers across India.
Jaipur: Rajasthan’s music lovers finally have something new to talk about. Bharat Sangeet Samrat, a new singing competition platform launched by Whistling Record, has officially opened registrations for its Rajasthan Chapter, promising aspiring singers a chance to showcase their talent through a structured, multi-stage competition that could eventually lead to a national-level reality show format.
At a time when social media is flooded with singing reels, covers, and viral performances, Bharat Sangeet Samrat is positioning itself as a platform designed specifically to discover raw singing talent and provide aspiring artists with a competitive stage beyond the algorithms of Instagram and YouTube.
What has caught the attention of many aspiring singers is the competition’s affordable entry fee. Participants can register by paying just ₹99 only and submit their audition videos online, making the process accessible to singers from both urban and rural areas.

A Competition Built for the Digital Generation
Unlike traditional talent hunts that require contestants to travel for physical auditions, Bharat Sangeet Samrat begins entirely online.
According to the organisers, contestants only need to submit a singing video during the registration phase. The competition will then move through multiple elimination rounds before reaching the final stage.
The organisers have designed the competition in three major phases:
Round 1: Digital Screening
All submitted entries will be reviewed by the selection panel.
From the total registrations received, approximately 500 singers will be shortlisted and moved to the next round.
Round 2: Challenge Round
The selected singers will receive a song assignment and will be required to submit a fresh performance video.
Based on performance quality, vocal ability, expression, and overall presentation, the shortlist will be narrowed down to 50 contestants.
Round 3: Advanced Selection Round
The Top 50 contestants will receive another performance challenge and submit a new recording.
After evaluation, only 10 finalists will advance to the final stage.
Grand Finale
The final 10 contestants are expected to perform before judges in a live competition format, creating what organisers describe as the first step toward a larger reality-show ecosystem.

Who Can Participate?
One of the biggest talking points surrounding Bharat Sangeet Samrat is its inclusive eligibility criteria.
The competition is open to singers between the ages of 12 and 55 years.
Interestingly, despite launching with a Rajasthan Chapter, the organisers have confirmed that participants from across India are eligible to apply.
Contestants are encouraged to submit a simple singing video without background music, allowing judges to evaluate their natural vocal quality rather than studio production.
Sponsors Begin Joining the Platform
Another sign that the project is gaining momentum is the addition of sponsor partners.
The show is powered by Hitayu Ayurvedic Clinic; Media partners are Ulta Palta Khabar & The Bureau Report, Toku-Moku as the snacking partner, Rajkumari’s Kitchen as the food partner, Drift Click as the technical partner, and Whistling Angles has come on board as Sponsors for Bharat Sangeet Samrat. The brand will also contribute products for gifting hampers and audience engagement activities.
Industry observers note that early sponsor participation is often a positive indicator for emerging entertainment properties, especially in the regional and digital talent-show space.
More sponsor announcements are expected in the coming weeks as the platform expands its visibility campaign across Rajasthan.
The Vision Behind Bharat Sangeet Samrat
The competition is being organised by Whistling Record, an independent music and entertainment company.
According to the organisers, Bharat Sangeet Samrat is not intended to remain just another online contest. Instead, the long-term vision is to develop a scalable music property that can eventually evolve into a larger national-level singing reality platform.
The project is being led by Mohit Choudhary, Managing Director of Whistling Record, who has been actively promoting the initiative through digital campaigns and strategic partnerships.
Industry experts point out that India continues to have a massive pool of untapped singing talent, particularly in Tier-2 and Tier-3 cities. While social media has given artists visibility, structured talent-discovery platforms remain relatively limited outside major television properties.
This gap is precisely where Bharat Sangeet Samrat hopes to make an impact.
Why the Competition Is Generating Interest
The excitement around the launch is being driven by three factors.
First, the low entry fee reduces barriers for aspiring singers.
Second, the fully digital audition process eliminates travel costs and geographical limitations.
Third, the competition promises multiple evaluation rounds rather than a single audition clip determining a contestant’s future.
For many aspiring singers, this format provides a realistic opportunity to demonstrate consistency, versatility, and growth throughout the competition.
