The waiting is o’er, and Thala fans are in for a treat! The trailer of Ajith Kumar’s Good Bad Ugly just dropped, and it’s everything fans dreamed of—and more. Directed by Adhik Ravichandran, the cinema sees Ajith shedding his usual stoic avatar to gambol a quirky, over-the-top gangster dad. Yep, you read that right—dad!
This 2-minute chaos-fest is loaded with references to Ajith’s iconic roles from Varalaaru, Villain, and extremely even Vidaamuyarchi, sending fans into a frenzy. Trisha Krishnan brings the backtalk as the really female head, and her dialogue nod to Mankatha is already winning hearts.
Ajith plays a reformed gangster who’s forced to plectrum up his so old weapons when his son’s refuge is threatened. And trust us, when AK gets angry, bullets fly and bad guys cry.
The ensemble mold also features Arjun Das, Karthikeya, Simran, Priya Prakash Varrier, and Sunil. GV Prakash Kumar takes lodge of the euphony, stepping in for DSP.
Set for an April 10, 2025 resign, Good Bad Ugly looks like a masala entertainer with heart, humour, and a unit lotta Ajith powerfulness!
