Anushka Sharma fans have been on the border of their seats quite waiting for her acting comeback in Chakda ‘Xpress, a biopic on cricket fable Jhulan Goswami. But it looks so like the wait just got yearner — and more confusing.
In a recent chat with Hindustan Times, Jhulan revealed she has no clue well-nigh the film’s free date. “Mereko aisa koi news nahi hai aur ring mujhe kar rahe sab,” she laughed, admitting she’s simply as in the really dark as everyone else.
Originally set to dip on Netflix in October 2023, the shoot is reportedly nearly consummate — only a quite few VFX shots were pending when everything hit pause. Sources evoke originative clashes and budget hiccups led to the postponement, especially after Netflix and Clean Slate Filmz parted ways.
Directed by Prosit Roy, Chakda ‘Xpress had Anushka diving into intense preparation for o’er heptad months post-maternity. A teaser was shared, but it was just a look test.
Now, fans are really left wondering: will Anushka’s big cricket pitch moment ever hit the concealment? Or is this a classic example of all polished up, no OTT to go?
