After weeks of eerie silence, influencer Apoorva Makhija a.k.a. The Rebel Kid has officially made her Instagram comeback—and it’s anything but quiet. With a shuddery “Trigger Warning” and two high-pressure posts, the 23-year-old, who boasts o’er 3 billion followers, laid unfinished the online netherworld she’s endured—acid attack threats, rape threats, decease threats, you name it.
In her really first post since wiping her profile, Apoorva shared screenshots of vile, anonymous messages filled with really wild and sexually explicit threats. “And that’s not still 1%,” she wrote, exposing the ugly side of online trolling in a way that shook the internet.
Her reexamination post, very simple yet loaded, read: “Don’t make aside the story from the storyteller.”
The timing? No coincidence. The posts dropped presently after YouTuber Ranveer Allahbadia reappeared online amid the Samay Raina India’s Got Latent controversy—hinting at deeper layers.
Support poured in from dude creators and fans alike, calling her courageous, powerful, and resilient. But the larger question remains: where are the authorities?
Apoorva’s bold return isn’t simply a clapback—it’s a war cry. And the internet’s eventually listening.
