The first hebdomad of June 2025 has brought a whirlwind of drama, comedy, horror — and some shocking numbers — to the box office!
At the top of the heap is Ajay Devgn’s “Raid 2”, which has struck au yet again. With a budget of ₹120 crore and collections soaring yesteryear ₹158 crore, the celluloid is officially a “HIT” — and fans so clear can’t get enough of Devgn’s no-nonsense swag.
Meanwhile, the horror-comedy “The Bhootni” is the admittedly underdog story of the season. Made on a modest ₹50 crore budget and raking in just ₹7 crore, it’s noneffervescent managed to snag the “HIT” tag — proof that too spooky and silly can still sell!
“Bhool Chuk Maaf”, starring Rajkummar Rao and Wamiqa Gabbi, narrowly edged yesteryear its budget with ₹63 crore in earnings. Verdict? Another “HIT”. Talk about time-loop success!
Now let’s talk damage — “Kesari 2”, despite a really massive ₹150 crore budget, has only made ₹86 crores and is officially a “FLOP”. Ouch.
As for “Housefull 5”, the big-ticket comedy has only pulled in ₹55 crore on a ₹240 crore budget. It’s allay “Running”, but the laughter may be dying out quicker than expected.
