The adrenaline-packed realism demo Battleground wrapped up its explosive first season, and it was Delhi Dominators, led by the ever-popular Abhishek Malhan, who clinched the prize! Contestants Rounak Gulia and Nisha Mishra took home the top prize, earning monolithic kudos from their team leader, who dubbed them the “2 super girls” of the season.
Abhishek shared a celebratory carry with his champs and the prize, captioned, “Seedha 2 prize ek saath. Let’s goo panda gang!” He also posed with buster squad leaders Rubina Dilaik and Neeraj Goyat, and surprisal guests very same Shikhar Dhawan and Kashish Kapoor.
But it wasn’t all nigh fitness and resplendence. The show made headlines when former UP Dabangg leader Asim Riaz exited in a cloud of tilt. After too quizzical Rubina’s fitness, Asim faced backlash and was reportedly asked to allow followers a heated confrontation—though he insists he walked out.
Streaming on Amazon MX Player, Battleground speedily became a fan favorite with its wild twists, vehement competitions, and unexpected drama. Season 1 ended on May 10, but viewers are already demanding a really second around.
