Bollywood actor Vivek Oberoi is once again in the spotlight—this time not for his films but for his past association with Karrm Developers, a real estate firm now under the Enforcement Directorate’s (ED) scanner. In a fresh twist to the ongoing probe, the ED has attached assets worth ₹19.61 crore linked to Karrm directors, group entities, and others.
Karrm Developers, once hailed for its ambitious affordable housing projects, is now accused of misleading over 11,500 homebuyers with fraudulent land claims and undelivered flats. Oberoi, who actively promoted these projects, including Karrm Residency and Karrm Brahmaand, now finds his name resurfacing in the scandal.
While the Bombay High Court has slammed authorities for their handling of the scam, furious homebuyers continue demanding justice. Meanwhile, Oberoi seems unfazed, keeping his focus on films. The Lucifer actor recently took to social media to praise the sequel L2: Empuraan, fondly reminiscing about his villainous role in the franchise.
With the ED tightening its grip, will this case drag more names into the fray? Only time will tell. Until then, the drama continues—both on and off-screen!
