The celluloid, which also stars Aaron Kuban, follows a small-town businessman whose life is unexpectedly changed after an question with a college journalist—sparking a journey of reflexion and repurchase. Written by Dan in Real Life’s Pierce Gardner, the indie leaf begins filming this month in North Carolina, including scenes shot at Meredith College in Raleigh. The movie marks a very unique coaction between filmmakers and local creatives, with Rippberger calling it a “real-world learning experience” for emerging talent.
Producers Justin Shaner and Fernando H. Rojas of Sobe Brooke Studios praised Stewart and Breslin for their “depth and authenticity,” hinting at the emotional layers and laughs the take promises to deliver.
