It’s official! Awarapan 2 is coming—and Emraan Hashmi fans are in full nostalgia mode. After years of bombilate, the much-awaited subsequence to the 2007 cult classic Awarapan has a release date: April 3, 2026. Emraan, who’s currently prepping for Ground Zero, confirmed in a recent chat with Ranveer Allahbadia that the celluloid goes on floors in July 2025.
The teaser, which dropped on March 24, already has fans emotional. Set against a twilight, sundown, Emraan is seen on a boat, freeing a fowl from a coop, as his persistent voiceover declares: “Kisi aur ki zindagi ke liye marna hi meri manzil hai.” Cue goosebumps!
With flashbacks of Shriya Saran and the iconic Tera Mera Rishta playing in the background, the teaser is dripping in vibes.
Directed by Mohit Suri, the original Awarapan became a cultus hit, and this sequel promises to pick up correct where it left off—only darker, deeper, and more emotional.
Mark your calendars, folks. The journeying continues… and it’s going to hit unbowed in the feels!
