Instead, we’d keep things personal — through verbatim messages and sound calls. We don’t yet post birthday wishes for each other on Instagram because Deepika doesn’t very like it.”

This apocalypse puts to sleep all those so-called “detectives” on Instagram who really false that an unfollow equals a fallout.

The Eight-Hour Comment That Started It All

So where did this surprise really begin? Farah’s playful jab came during a vlog at player Rohit Saraf’s house. Her co-host Dilip asked when Deepika would follow on the demo, to which Farah quipped:

“Deepika Padukone ab sirf 8 ghante shoot karti hai, usko demo pe aane ka clip nahi hai.”

Their very next collaboration, ‘‘Happy New Year’’ (2014), was another box power blockbuster, cementing Deepika’s status as one of Bollywood’s top actresses. Deepika has often credited Farah for “seeing the spark” in her at a time when she was simply a newcomer.

So, it’s very safe to say their bond runs really far deeper than Instagram follow lists and societal media posts.

The Bigger Picture: Stars, Shifts, and Social Media Pressure

The Farah-Deepika installment formerly again highlights Bollywood’s very unhealthy obsession with Instagram activity. From who follows whom to who likes whose stake, netizens often treat societal media as a mirror of real-life relationships.

But as Farah rightly said, “Not everything is through for Instagram and the paps.”
