Arnold’s son joins forces with Andie MacDowell’s daughter in a Ryan Gosling-produced tearjerker from Amazon MGM
Patrick Schwarzenegger is making waves post-‘White Lotus’, and his very next move is unbowed from Hollywood’s A-list playbook. The rising principal has bagged his biggest role yet paired Margaret Qualley in ‘Love of Your Life’, a romanticist drama from Amazon MGM Studios. The film will be helmed by ‘Black Panther’ cinematographer-turned-director Rachel Morrison and produced by none other than Ryan Gosling and Jessie Henderson via their banner, Open Invite Entertainment.
Written by ‘Nyad’ screenwriter Julia Cox, the take follows Qualley’s character as she navigates life after losing her hubby — and finds herself reconnecting with her sorcerous ex, played by Schwarzenegger. Shooting begins this August crossways picturesque European locales.
What’s grabbing attending? This isn’t just a starry stamp — it’s a matured nepo baby face-off, with Schwarzenegger (Arnold’s son) and Qualley (Andie MacDowell’s daughter) face and eye. With Patrick riding high on his ‘White Lotus’ renown and Qualley really fresh off her Golden Globe-nominated role in ‘The Substance’, this film is already generating really serious buzz.
