The post has drawn an outpouring of condolences from fans, who have flooded social media with prayers for the family.

Who Were Vidit Auluck and Aarav Talwar?

Vidit was the son of Dinesh Auluck, who owns the Punjabi music label Speed Records, a name familiar to followers of the Punjabi music industry. The second victim, Aarav Talwar, was the son of the owner of Pappy Sweets, a well-known name in the city.

Both families are well known in Jalandhar, which is why the news has spread quickly across Punjab’s music and business circles.

How the Accident Happened

According to a report cited by Mid-Day, the crash took place on a flyover near the Police Lines area in Jalandhar. A Volkswagen car carrying Vidit and Aarav hit a Municipal Corporation tractor-trolley that was standing on the road.

The car was travelling from BMC Chowk toward BSF Chowk when it rammed into the stationary tractor-trolley parked on the flyover. Both young men died on the spot.

Five people were reportedly travelling in the car at the time. Vidit and Aarav lost their lives, while the other three survived and later returned home.

What the Police Have Said

Police reached the site after receiving information and took the bodies into custody. Baradari police station SHO Sahil Chaudhary said police were alerted about the accident around 3 am.

Municipal Corporation sanitation workers were cleaning the flyover at the time and had parked the tractor-trolley there to collect garbage. Police started proceedings to establish the circumstances behind the collision. According to reports, the families declined further legal action, after which the bodies were handed over to them.

At this stage, the exact cause of the crash has not been officially established. Details such as visibility, speed and whether the parked vehicle carried warning markings are matters for the investigation, and it would be wrong to speculate.

What This Means for the Families

For the Auluck and Talwar families, this is a loss that no statement can ease. Two young lives have ended, and the grief now moves from headlines to homes. The decision not to pursue legal action suggests the families want to focus on mourning and last rites in private.

What It Means for Honey Singh

(This section is our analysis, not confirmed fact.)

Honey Singh has often been in the public eye, but this is a personal tragedy. His words show a man deeply shaken. In the coming days, it would not be surprising if public appearances, shoots or music-related announcements are put on hold while the family mourns. Fans and colleagues from the industry are likely to reach out with support, and the focus will remain on the family’s privacy.

Impact on the Punjabi Music Industry

Speed Records is one of the best-known labels in Punjabi music, and Dinesh Auluck is a respected figure in the business. The industry is likely to respond with condolences and tributes. Artists and colleagues who have worked with the label may share their messages in the coming days, and some events or releases may be postponed as a mark of respect.

The Bigger Road-Safety Question

Beyond the grief, this accident has raised a familiar concern: vehicles standing on roads and flyovers at night. Sanitation and maintenance work is essential, and it often happens in the early hours when traffic is thin. But if a vehicle must stop on a high-speed stretch like a flyover, visibility becomes critical.

(Again, this is general analysis and not a finding of this case.) Road-safety experts commonly recommend reflective tape, warning lights, cones and advance signage for any work vehicle parked on a road, especially at night. The outcome of the police inquiry may prompt the civic body and the city administration to review how such work is done after dark.

For drivers, the incident is also a reminder that late-night roads carry special risks, including fatigue, lower visibility and stationary obstacles. Authorities regularly urge people to avoid driving when tired and to keep speeds low on flyovers and unlit stretches.

What Happens Next

  • Police inquiry. Investigators will continue to establish the circumstances of the collision. Any findings on the cause will come from the police.
  • Last rites and condolences. Family, friends and members of the music industry are expected to gather to pay their respects.
  • Civic review. The Municipal Corporation may face questions about night-time cleaning operations and safety measures on flyovers.
  • Industry tributes. Expect messages from artists and colleagues across the Punjabi and Hindi music industries.

The Bottom Line

A night out with friends turned into one of the saddest headlines of the week. Two young men are gone, three friends survived, and two families are left in mourning. Honey Singh’s brief message says it all: a loss that cannot be put into words.

We extend our deepest condolences to the Auluck and Talwar families. This story will be updated as more information becomes available.
