In a candid chat with YouTuber Shubhankar Mishra, Hooda revealed that he hasn’t received any official intimation about returning to the franchise. “Unhone bola tha banayenge… par mujhe kuch nahi pata,” he said, confirming that producer Sajid Nadiadwala is still contemplating the project’s next move.
Meanwhile, screenwriter Rajat Arora has teased that the story will pick up from where the first film ended—and this time, it’s all about delivering a fresh and gripping plot.
Last year, Nadiadwala Grandson hyped fans with a muscle-packed monochrome shot of Salman Khan, tagging it as a Kick 2 photoshoot. That tease, though, now feels like foreplay with no follow-through.
