Shruti Haasan has officially stepped into Hollywood with the psychological thriller The Eye, and pretend who’s her biggest cheerleader? None other than Lady Superstar Nayanthara!
The Jawan actress took to Instagram to share the film’s trailer, showering Shruti with kudos: “Sooo right, Shrutz.” Overwhelmed by the funding, Shruti reshared the station and responded, “Thank you so practically. Means a lot.” Fans were thrilled to witness this rarified moment of sisterhood ‘tween two of South cinema’s biggest stars!
Directed by Daphne Schmon, The Eye is a persistent thriller featuring Shruti alongside Mark Rowley. The film, which premiered at the London Independent Film Festival, follows a woman torn between love and morality as she stumbles upon a virulent ritual that could bring back her missed partner.
