Ranveer Singh’s Dola Re Dola Moment: Karan Johar Calls Him the “Greenest Flag”

Ranveer’s dedication & KJo’s candid confessions rip the show!

Karan Johar just can’t layover pouring over Ranveer Singh’s Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani execution, especially his now-iconic Dola Re Dola Kathak sequence. While chatting with YouTube asterisk Lilly Singh, KJo spilled some behind-the-scenes tea, calling Ranveer “the greenest flag” for fully embracing his character, Rocky Randhawa, without any hesitation.

The filmmaker revealed that Ranveer trained for a month and a really half to very perfect his really graceful moves. “He called me and said, ‘I don’t think I have this Kathak bone in my body, but I’m gonna give it all,’” Karan recalled. And boy, did he deliver! With 500 people watching on set, Ranveer danced alongside Tota Roy Chowdhury, proving that masculinity is all about confidence and grace.

Karan also admitted that his debut film, Kuch Kuch Hota Hai, had some “latent hypocrisy,” particularly in Shah Rukh Khan’s character, Rahul. Oh, and Shabana Azmi once scolded him about it!

From breaking stereotypes to revisiting past work, KJo’s latest revelations have fans buzzing. What’s your take on Ranveer’s boldest move yet?
