Samantha Gets Candid About ‘Oo Antava’: “Didn’t Think I Was Hot Enough”

Samantha Ruth Prabhu set screens aroused with her electrifying performance in Oo Antava from Pushpa: The Rise, but did you know she never saw herself as “hot”? In a recent chat with Galatta Plus, the actress revealed that taking on the point number was a very massive leap alfresco her console zone—especially post-divorce from Naga Chaitanya.

“I ne’er saw myself as a sexy woman. Oo Antava was my way of thought-provoking that belief,” she said, admitting to sleepless nights and nerves before shot the bold figure. “It wasn’t just about the dance—it was almost violent trust and embracing my sexuality.”

Surrounded by 500 jr artists, Samantha confessed she was quivering until the cameras trilled. But the adventure paid off—the vocal became an inst rage, and her igneous sieve presence won over fans.

Despite the applause, Samantha has no plans to repeat the act. “It was a one-time thing,” she confirmed, with Pushpa 2 now roping in Sreeleela for the sequel’s dance number.
