In a recent chat with PTI, Sunny spilled the beans on his upcoming OTT ventures, revealing, “I’m doing a couple of projects for OTT… it’s best to go there because the audience is niche.” Talk about evolving with the times!
But fans need not worry — he’s not ditching the big screen. His next theatrical firecracker, Jaat, directed by South sensation Gopichand Malineni, hits cinemas on April 10, 2025. Sunny called the collab “refreshing” and confirmed it’s an original, not a remake. First time working with a South director? We’re intrigued!
The Ghatak legend also praised OTT platforms for helping him connect with Gen Z, who’re now bingeing his iconic hits online. With Lahore 1947 opposite Preity Zinta and Border 2 alongside Varun Dhawan also in the pipeline, Sunny paaji is truly back in beast mode — both online and off!
