The wait is finally over! KGF superstar Yash has officially stepped into the role of the mighty Ravana for Nitesh Tiwari’s much-anticipated Ramayana. Cameras started rolling on February 21 in Mumbai, with the actor diving straight into action-packed war sequences filmed at Aksa Beach. After two days of costume trials, Yash is ready to bring his larger-than-life screen presence to this epic saga.
While Ranbir Kapoor, portraying Lord Ram, has reportedly completed 90% of his scenes, he won’t feature in this battle shoot, which focuses on Ravana’s strategic brilliance. The filming will soon move to Dahisar for grand-scale green screen shots, ensuring a VFX spectacle. Sai Pallavi and other key cast members are also part of this segment.
With AR Rahman and Hans Zimmer composing the soundtrack and a stellar cast including Lara Dutta and Sunny Deol, Ramayana promises an unforgettable cinematic experience. Part One hits theatres Diwali 2026, followed by Part Two in 2027. Get ready for an epic showdown!
