The Kapoor khandaan is Bollywood royalty, but not everyone in the family grew up as BFFs! Zahan Kapoor, the grandson of Shashi Kapoor, recently spilled some juicy details about his bond with cousins Ranbir Kapoor and Kareena Kapoor Khan.
In a candid chat, the Black Warrant actor admitted that while their relationship has improved over the years, childhood was a different story. “We were slightly distant growing up,” he revealed, adding that while Ranbir and Kareena were already part of Bollywood, he was just a kid in a different world.
Zahan even shared a hilarious confession—he didn’t even know who Ranbir was until Saawariya released in 2007! Imagine being part of the Kapoor family and still getting surprised by a cousin’s big Bollywood debut!
Though he had more memories with Shammi Kapoor’s grandkids, Zahan now shares a stronger bond with Ranbir and Kareena. And yes, he once watched Rockstar twice in a day but didn’t feel close enough to text Ranbir about it. Now, things have changed!
