Aamir Khan Confirms Mahabharat as His Dream Project, Says It Might Be His Last Film Ever

The actor says practicing Mahabharat is his dream and suggests he might finish his acting career with more Mahabharat cinema.

Aamir Khan has plans to bring the Mahabharata to cinema. Working on promoting his next film Sitaare Zameen Par, the Bollywood perfected revealed how he wants to adapting Mahabharat for the movies at last. Two catches, actually. This might be the final film he ever works on.

Aamir said on Raj Shamani’s podcast, “That story has stayed with me more than any other.” After that, I may not want to do anything else. Fansager claimed Mahabharat is more than just a movie, since it is “layered, emotional and huge,” and filming it could take many years and several films.

The actor believes he may or may not be in it and the decision will be made by who is best for each part. Regarding where to go? Aamir said that the project could only realize his vision if several directors took it on.

With how big and bold the project is, Aamir’s version of Mahabharat could wind up being Indian cinema’s most daring franchise. Because of so many films, large budgets and much preparation ahead, this could end up breaking box office records and making Aamir’s departure from acting an unforgettable one.
