After much anticipation, Anurag Basu has finally confirmed that Aashiqui 3 is set to begin filming next month! The filmmaker, in a recent chat with ANI, shared that the pre-production phase is in full swing, ensuring everything is in place for the next installment of the beloved musical franchise.
While fans eagerly await Kartik Aaryan’s romantic avatar, Basu also reflected on Bollywood’s global standing. He compared the Hindi and Korean film industries, calling both “young” but admitting that Indian cinema still has a long way to go in terms of international reach. Unlike Korean films, which have taken the world by storm, Bollywood remains largely consumed by Indian audiences.
