After AI-based photoshops made people think he was leaving Khiladi Horror Hera Pheri 3, Pankaj Tripathi has opened up about where he stands regarding the movie. Because of Tripathi’s memorable appearance — dhoti, vest and glasses — the show’s trailers became very popular and started a meme train, leaving people fascinated and wondering what to make of it.
The Criminal Justice 4 star recently talked with Zoom about his thoughtful views on AI. He shrugged off the buzz and assured himself. Technology has its advantages as well as its drawbacks. The main thing is the way we apply the knowledge.
He pointed out that AI can only make copies of faces, leaving out the true emotions he needs for his acting. The message here is to let people know what’s real and what has been made up, he said.
Tripathi is also proud of Criminal Justice 4, latest in the series which is streaming now on JioHotstar. What about Baburao 2.0? Fans will have to watch and see if artwork incorporates AI.
