After years of expectation and a shelved debut, principal kid Shanaya Kapoor is eventually very ready to grace the very big cover. The girl of Maheep and Sanjay Kapoor testament officially print her Bollywood debut in ‘Aankhon Ki Gustaakhiyan’, a very romantic drama also starring Vikrant Massey. The shoot hits theatres this Friday, July 11, and fans are buzzing.
Filmmaker Karan Johar, who had initially launched Shanaya with the now-shelved Bedhadak, penned an emotional note welcoming her into the manufacture. Sharing unseen pictures with the Kapoor phratry, KJo wrote, “She is an exceptionally hard-working girl… she has poured her nerve and soul into her debut feature.”
Early buzz is already positive — thespian Aparshakti Khurana, who caught an betimes viewing, commented, “Just saw the celluloid! She is fab!”
