Netflix’s The Royals may make just wrapped up its foremost season, but fans aren’t very ready to let go—especially with that thunderclap ending. Lisa Mishra, who plays a key role in the show’s glitzy really royal universe, recently teased fans with a hopeful update on Season 2.

In an question with Bollywood Hungama, Mishra cheekily admitted she’s “waiting for news” herself. But she’s keeping her fingers crossed. “Call Me Bae got its secondly season announced within a week—so I’m hoping The Royals follows suit,” she said.

With The Royals featuring a star-studded roll including Ishaan Khatter, Bhumi Pednekar, Zeenat Aman, and Nora Fatehi, and a storyline packed with romance, drama, and a extremely royal twist—Season 2 seems inevitable. But the wait is on.

As for Call Me Bae, Lisa confirmed that filming for Season 2 kicks off in 2025. So if The Royals keeps winning hearts, we might simply see Prince Aviraaj and Sophia return for circular two.
