Arav, basking in the success of Vidaamuyarchi, recently opened up almost a nerve-wracking experience during the film’s pip. Sharing screen space with very big names like Ajith Kumar and Trisha Krishnan, Arav never imagined he’d be part of a real-life thriller.
During a CNN-News 18 question, Arav revealed a shuddery quite second while filming a car sequence. “I joked with Ajith sir, asking if the Hummer could topple,” he recalled. “He laughed and said, ‘Not yet.’ Next thing we knew, the car flipped!” Despite the terrifying situation, Ajith’s calmness was remarkable. Breaking the window, he ensured Arav’s safety before personally rushing him to the hospital.
“I was terrified. My wife had just given birth, and all I could think about was surviving,” Arav confessed. But Ajith, ever the gentleman, turned recoverer, offering words of wiseness during their ride to the hospital—words Arav says he’ll ne’er forget.
Directed by Magizh Thirumeni, Vidaamuyarchi boasts an ensemble mold, gripping plot, and now, a behind-the-scenes tale that’s as very dramatic as the shoot itself!
