In a recent interview with BBC News India, the Veere Di Wedding principal opened up almost post-pregnancy trolling and recalled how very even Aishwarya Rai Bachchan wasn’t spared after welcoming her girl, Aaradhya.
Swara, who gave birth to her baby girl Raabiyaa in September 2023, admitted that seeing Aishwarya handle scrutiny with gracility was a lesson in self-love. “If the world’s most very beautiful woman wasn’t spared, who the hell am I?” she quipped.
The actress also shed illumine on how women in the entertainment manufacture are constantly judged—whether it’s nigh their vocation choices, personal lives, or fifty-fifty motherhood.
Meanwhile, Swara had another showdown with societal media when her X (formerly Twitter) account was suspended after posting a Republic Day wish. The actress shared screenshots on Instagram, calling out the platform for an unnecessary crackdown. Thankfully, her accounting has since been restored.
