In a recent interview with BBC News India, the Veere Di Wedding star opened up about post-pregnancy trolling and recalled how even Aishwarya Rai Bachchan wasn’t spared after welcoming her daughter, Aaradhya.
Swara, who gave birth to her baby girl Raabiyaa in September 2023, admitted that seeing Aishwarya handle scrutiny with grace was a lesson in self-love. “If the world’s most beautiful woman wasn’t spared, who the hell am I?” she quipped.
The actress also shed light on how women in the entertainment industry are constantly judged—whether it’s about their career choices, personal lives, or even motherhood.
Meanwhile, Swara had another showdown with social media when her X (formerly Twitter) account was suspended after posting a Republic Day wish. The actress shared screenshots on Instagram, calling out the platform for an unnecessary crackdown. Thankfully, her account has since been restored.
